The Blue Barn is Open Every Day

In 2006, our community came together for a barn raising party to build a traditional German-style Hill Country Barn. We are located in historic Peyton Colony, the westernmost freedmen’s colony in Texas, halfway between Wimberley and Blanco.
The Blue Barn is the gateway to our flower farm and represents what a community can do when it comes together.
The Blue Barn Market is Self Serve. Yes, you heard right, it’s the honor system. Bring cash or checks. The red cash box hangs on the wall inside the door.
We grow and sell fresh-cut flowers, vegetable and herb plants, potted flowers and hanging baskets.
Barn-fresh eggs from our chickens, and local goat cheese from Pure Luck Dairy.
